boo-YEAH!

So I've been addicted to this recently: http://www.sporcle.com/games/presidents.php

And tonight I finally named them all in less than a minute. (52 seconds, actually!)
So then I decided, why not learn them in order?
So I did.

My mom's response when I told her my awesome news: "Is that gonna get you a job?"
Well played, Mom.
Well played.

In other news, before my friends played their show the other night they had a song playing as background music and ever since then it had been stuck in my head. What song, you ask?
"I Want To Be A Hulkamaniac" by Hulk Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band.
You can listen to it here.
Here are the lyrics:

Chorus:
I wanna be a Hulkamaniac,
Have fun with my family and friends.
I wanna be a Hulkamaniac,
Have fun with my family and friends.

If you wanna be a Hulkamaniac,
I can sure tell you how to stay on track.
You got to train, say your prayers, eat your vitamins too.
(Especially if they're Hulk Hogan Brand Chewable Vitamins!)
These are the things that maniacs do.

Positive thoughts and postive deeds,
These are the things that make you succeed.
Always be good to your family and friends.
They're the only ones that'll be there in the end.

(CHORUS)

When you're lookin' for somethin' cool to do,
Just pick good friends to be with you.
You better watch out where you are at.
You might be judged where you hang your hat.

Can you feel the music? Can you feel the beat?
You don't need drugs to move your feet.
When the dealer tries to push on you,
Just tell him what you're gonna do!

(CHORUS 2x)

Try to do good each and every day.
Don't give `em nothing bad to say.
Always go swimmin' with a buddy.
Work real hard and always study.

If you want to be real real cool
Don't be so stupid and play the fool.
Get your education each and every day.
These are all the things that the 'maniacs say!

(CHORUS 3x)

Haha I love this song.

UPDATE: I just mastered listing the Presidents, IN ORDER, in less than a minute.
yeahya.

  1. Oh, the things you learn when you are
    A) Not in fourth grade and being force fed history trivia
    B) Bored out of your skull =-)

I'm impressed by your skillz .. and that song? Now will be stuck in my head all night. I'm scared of what dreams I may have. I have a feeling Bram in a dark wig may show up doing some weird dance ..

I'm scared to close my eyes....

  2. Actually, that force-feeding of trivia in fourth grade led me to being able to say all of the states in alphabetical order in one breath.
    haha.
that song is so ridiculously catchy.
and i apologize for any dreams you have about it, especially ones that involve bram.
    :)
